[Dog Walk Cycle Practice]

Regardless of the head moving, it's a very good start. The movement of the feet and tail looks really natural, and as you said yourself in the description, the only thing to make the motion look even better is to add in some head motion. So, nicely done, I would consider this a successful practice attempt if I were you!
